Teas for when you're sick

What are some of your favorite teas for when you feel sick?

I personally LOVE ginger tea, especially with lots of fresh ginger in it.

And of course matcha!

  • Throat Coat w/honey. then gargle with a glass of vitamin C powdered mix.
    • My grandmother would make Thyme tea with honey when we had colds. In fact, i just held off a throat infection that my husband has had for two weeks with thyme tea (he refuses to drink it). Use a half-teaspoon of generic dried thyme for a cup and let it steep a few minutes. add honey to sweeten. be sure not to let it steep for too long or it will taste awful.

      Thyme is well known for its antibiotic properties, and it's much tastier than gargling with salt water!!
